Dear Selene,
It is wonderful to see your pictures and words once again. This year has been very hard on both you and Alexandra, but from what I understand and see, you have both grown in a natural and maturing grace. Alexandra’s world was shattered in a personal traumatic way, your world also, in sharing the hurt and long period of healing with your loving friend.
Having been told recently that , “Alex is OK and happy”, it has helped me shed a long period of deep concern. I fervently hope both she, and you, are very happy.
Have you ever had the feeling that something great was on its way? This morning, I had that feeling. The words of a song from “West Side Story” ran through my head, “somethin’s coming, somethin is, I don’t know what it is, but I know it is gonna be grand…” Like magic, tonight, here you are, Selene, and it is grand that you are here…
What you intend to do, and how much, is of course, up to you. I for one, will be more than satisfied just to know you are “OK and happy” too, and perhaps that you, like Alexandra, have put aside “certain things”.
You and Alexandra each have the soul of the artist. In that, I speak not of your shows, but of the intelligence, imagination and beauty you each inherently possess within you. If you each cultivate that and live it, you should remain happy, and the world will be the better for it.
there is a multitude of music if you wish it
both to hear and to possess
to charge the beating in your breast
and to calm that beating too
to close your day when it is through
and the next to wake you wide if it is needed
but, the best is for the time
it will accompany your love
bring deep connection to your mind
beyond your furthest reaching ken
beyond your understanding, then
to feel the touch of all there is
as the universal consciousness is greeted…
Yes, music can assist you to do all that.
Selene, please ask Alexandra if she still holds carefully that portion of my heart I left with her. Ask her if she ever hears words whispered from far away.

Whilst you and Alexa have been out of the spotlight you have not been out of our thoughts.

I am very glad that both you and Alexa have come back; I spent a year waiting for you and Alexa ! it was hard pretending to be always all OK ; but now I hope you both can return with us for a long time together.

WOW, magic, from a true artist!
A wonderful photo essay, of powerful, creative images, displaying exteme emotions of life.
In these images I can see your inner pain, but yet, at the same time, I also see, your inner strength, and warmth! I am glad that you were able to share these pictures with us.
Selene, Alexa and yourself are often in my thoughts. I wish you both, joy, happiness, and safe travels.

Thank You Dearest Selene,,
I was very surprised and pleased to see these new posts after this long absnse, during which I know that both you and Alexa have experienced life in some of it’s most traumatic and soul wrenching levels.
I am so happy to see the beauty of your pictures and feel,, with your words and thoughts,, the beauty of your heart and soul again.
I am also happy that you have each other, and to know that through all that has, and is yet to be,, you’ve been,,, and will be together sharing and bearing each-other’s happiness as well as the not so happy experiences in life.
Each moment that makes up a life is a memory,, and each friendship,, a level or degree of love for another person.. and each memory shared with a friend, is added to a tapestry woven together in each heart, so that even in times they are seperated by distance or circumstance,, they are never truely alone.
Though Garfield no longer exists at MET, I hope you know Dearest Selene,, I will always be here as Your Garfield,, and as your loving and caring friend Gregg

Dear Selene and Alexa- It is so wonderfull to have you back on line again. I have missed you both so much. I do hope we can get together in a show soon. I will be checking in with you more often, and please tell Alexa to say gav gav to Willy.

Thank you so much for letting us know you are still out there being the intelligent, sweet, funny (my car is still the same, haven’t made a Lamborghini out of it yet
