Be aware, beautiful woman. Keep your eyes open as you search both internal and external. Watch for patterns of warmth and caring, and genuine interest in who you are, which will appear in the eyes of a new stranger.
She who is precious will be revered. She’ll know her soul will fill with love. You are… you’ll know…
Just wait and see. Be patient in this time of deep learning… this time “on the brink”…
Forgetting the text, the image alone, of the “dark lonely woman” is powerful and emotive.
I think you have captured the true meaning of an empty human soul with it.
Many a time, Alexa and yourself have been the light of the universe with your smiles and warmth. A light given from both of your souls. This light never fades, but returns to it’s source, at the time of need.
“On the brink”, “without wings” is dangerous, lovely one. Life has changed, as it always will. Life was fun for two young women, but surely you knew in your heart it would have to metamorphise sometime into something more real in the eyes of your society. Priorities will evolve, not always in the same direction for both of a pair, especially if fate intervenes… as it has…
By going deeper inside oneself, via introspection, one can find answers, but to go deep inside oneself to hide, no answer will be found. Find yourself. Find your answers. There is a life of great value for you, if you are open to it. With your fortune given attributes of beauty, intelligence, grace, imagination, the list goes on, you would be more justified to feel proud and confident.
Every life has its misfortunes, tragedies, failures, of one sort or another. You are not immune, of course. Lift your chin, Selene. Evolve, as you must. Your “soul may feel empty”. It is not. You will find love and happiness, because you deserve it. You have a wonderful warm heart, a kind and loving soul…
In this last year I know you have tasted from the cup of mortality… and a strange brew it is, both sweet and bitter in the same moment, both intoxicating and sobering, and it leaves an aftertaste that lingers long after the sip is gone. Sweetheart, if you will hear my advice you will save and savor what remains of that draught, you will take the time to understand it in all its facets to the deepest levels of your heart and soul… for within the subtleties is a wisdom those who have never drunk from that cup can not concieve of.

I’m just really glad you’re safe. I’ve been worried.
Forget the wings awhile, let’s just walk a bit. And talk.
Sometimes it’s good not to fly.

Selene,
This is my favourite image.
Forgetting the text, the image alone, of the “dark lonely woman” is powerful and emotive.
I think you have captured the true meaning of an empty human soul with it.

Laughter & Light,

Dear Selene -
In this last year I know you have tasted from the cup of mortality… and a strange brew it is, both sweet and bitter in the same moment, both intoxicating and sobering, and it leaves an aftertaste that lingers long after the sip is gone. Sweetheart, if you will hear my advice you will save and savor what remains of that draught, you will take the time to understand it in all its facets to the deepest levels of your heart and soul… for within the subtleties is a wisdom those who have never drunk from that cup can not concieve of.
Peace be yours…
