Ah… I do like this image in particular… gothic it is, and in more than simply the colors… it is that deep understanding of things never spoken of that shapes an expression, puts a bit of a shiver and a chill in the viewer… what is it in the darkness behind those eyes are trying to give warning of? Well done Selene, very well done.
Is good to see new works, it really is. I’ve missed you. I’ve left the other place, hadn’t stopped by in ages… I’ll be by more often now.
‘nos is right; this is the best photo.
obviously, motherhood has been good
for your beauty. you’ve never looked
more alluring, and filled with possibility.
if you’d be interested in reading some
of the 300 poems i’ve written and posted
in the past year, register at that website
for access to my page and gallery. it is
free. as i said before, both you and
Alexandra would be valued for your artistic
abilities – drawing and computer graphics,
and more.
And here,,, in this photograph,,, I see THE look,, directly into the lens,, but so far beyond,,, again my eyes behold the exact look into those beautiful eyes that first took my heart and captured forever,, my soul… in them I see forever,,, the beautiful heart and soul again of a friend so dearly loved and so sorely missed for an incredibly long time.
I wish now that I had been able,, to post these on the eve of your Birthday ,, and I still wonder,,, did you recieve the greetings and wishes I DID leave in other venues?
I wish you a lifetime of happiness dear Selene may your heart be both filled with,, and surrounded by love ,, as mine will be held in the depths of my heart and memory for the balance of whatever time remains for me on this plane,, and I hope well beyond, into whatever comes after,, Forever Yours dear,,, YOUR Garfield and loving friend… Gregg
